POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferable in business administration and/or marketing) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications 

  • At least 6 months of program management work experience and knowledge of event planning and execution.
  • Demonstrated constructive and collaborative relationship building skills with a variety of individuals and groups, including peers, leadership, and external constituents.
  • Excellent written and organizational skills.
  • Professional communication skills with demonstrated ability to represent Iowa JPEC at professional networking and alumni events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to meet and maintain UI’s Fleet Safety Standards.


Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
  • Experience in an academic and fundraising setting.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
