REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 1-3 years experience in program management
- Experience in personal interaction with a variety of audiences including business leaders, media/press contacts, donors/prospects, and other sophisticated audiences and individuals
- Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment
- Demonstrate careful attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and effectively, proactively establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required including the ability to compose communications and grammatically correct documents in a concise, logical, and organized manner.
- Proficient in computer software applications (Microsoft Office Programs)
- Valid US driver’s license and eligibility to operate motor vehicles under University standards.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A Master's degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience to be in areas of marketing, communications, development, public relations, and/or corporate relations is highly desirable
- Experience in strategic planning
- Experience in event planning
- Experience in major gift-level philanthropy efforts
- Experience with publication development, desktop publishing, and the printing process is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HTML and website design and management
- Knowledge of social media applications
