Contract Administrator
Qualifications:
Education or Equivalency Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate considerable, typically 3-5 years of professional experience with reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Must thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and have the organizational skills to manage a large workload.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform tasks that require accuracy and detail-level attention, at an extensive level of proficiency.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to service excellence and the ability to meet or exceed service needs and expectations.
- Demonstrate independent judgement and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work within a team and alone or with limited guidance as appropriate.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in government, industry or healthcare contracting.
- Research administration contracting experience with Federal or non-federal sponsors.
- Experience drafting and negotiating confidentiality agreements, data transfer and use agreements, material transfer agreements, corporate funded clinical trial contracts, or industry research contracts.
- A working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Professional experience in a legal or business setting.
- Advanced degree in a related discipline. JD or MBA is preferred.
