Education Requirement
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Required
  • Familiarity with the United States K12 education system.
  • Knowledge of administrative processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Experience typical of 1 – 3 years.
  • Ability to work with individuals and groups in a constructive and respectful manner while appreciating the unique contribution of an inclusive workforce that brings together the talents of people across multiple identities.
  • Demonstrated successful experience working in a team environment by exhibiting good teamwork and contributing to an overall positive and productive work/team environment.
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Demonstrated ability to mobilize both time and resources to get things done, to meet deadlines, plan, organize and carry out responsibilities of this position with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use office support tools available on the desktop (e.g., word processing, e-mail, and spreadsheets). Experience working with databases such as access. 

Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with higher education academic programs policies and procedures.
  • Working experience (typical 1-3 years) in K12 settings. 
  • Familiarity with the use and purposes of assessment software systems such as Tk20.
