The Coordinator, UI Health Care Badge Center provides administrative, operational, and reporting support for University ID Card Programs. This position combines front-line customer service with back-end data management, quality assurance, and process improvement. Responsibilities include ID card production, daily center operations, inventory oversight, reporting, and resolution of complex issues. The role requires independent decision-making, strong communication skills, and a commitment to accuracy and service excellence. This position is not eligible for University sponsorship for employment authorization.

Duties to Include: 
•    Issue UI Health Care ID badges and Iowa One cards to students, faculty, staff and affiliates within established policies and guidelines.
•    Ability to troubleshoot system and hardware issues during production.
•    Respond to in-person, phone and email inquiries and requests regarding issues related to ID cards and UBill accounts.
•    Assist with training, supervision, scheduling and evaluation of student employees and support staff; monitor compliance with FERPA, University policies and applicable regulations. 
•    Performs all aspects of administrative support for a location or a department.

Location: General Hospital
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in a business related major or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    Minimum of six months administrative related or program experience including experience providing excellent customer service. 
•    Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
•    Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, balance multiple priorities, and ensure a high level of accuracy in work produced.
•    Ability to apply logic and deductive reasoning to problems with varying levels of complexity.
•    Proficiency with computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
•    Ability to work with a variety of groups of staff at all levels of an organization, demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.

Desired Qualifications:
•    Working knowledge of relational database systems.
•    Some knowledge of University and UIHC systems, policies, procedures and regulations.
•    Experience using MAUI, ERMA, Workflow or other higher education administrative information systems. 
•    Demonstrated commitment to quality of work, operational excellence, and customer experience.
