Qualifications

Required Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
● 1-3 years of graphic design experience, including page layout design, web design, illustration, photography, and branding.
● Experience translating illustration across mediums, including animation using Adobe After Effects.
● Experience with desktop design and publishing processes on the Macintosh platform and Adobe Creative Suite software, such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
● A thorough knowledge of best practices and design principles for both print and digital.
● The ability to work with a variety of people and situations.
● Ability to multitask and set priorities to ensure that milestones and deadlines are achieved.
● Fine attention to detail, professionalism, and dependability.
● Ability to take direction, implement feedback, and provide design options.
● General understanding of the prepress and printing process.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with Content Management Systems, such as Drupal.
• Experience collaborating with photographers, videographers, clients, and photo subjects to plan and coordinate marketing photo shoots.
• Experience working with branding elements and style guidelines.
