Critical Care ARNP - PICU
- Current certification as a pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP/Acute Care NP) and licensure as ARNP in the state of Iowa is required.
- Demonstrated experience of two or more years in the care of critical care pediatric patients or experience that demonstrates knowledge of the care of all patients admitted to a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Selected candidates will be expected to successfully acquire Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Acute Care (CPNP-AC) certification within 2.5 years from the date of hire.
- Demonstrated experience providing overall medical care and provide medical management for patients in an inpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience exercising autonomy in medical decision-making and services provided is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience managing length of stay, improve resource utilization and decrease costs to patients and the institution while providing personalized care is highly desirable.
