Department Administrator
Education Required
- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates experience (typically 6 months-1 year) and a working level of ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of individuals, teams, and/or units.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of and application of the effective communication techniques and relationship building skills required to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work as a team.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with budgets, reconciling accounts, MAUI, and MyUI.
- Knowledge of, or experience with UI Workflow.
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Customer service experience in an academic environment.
