Department Administrator
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications

Demonstrates experience 1-3 years and a working level of ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of individuals, teams, and/or units, including proficiency with computer software applications.

Must be highly organized and detail-oriented

Demonstrates commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Demonstrates a working knowledge of and application of the effective communication techniques and relationship building skills required to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Demonstrates the ability to make decisions and exercise a moderate level of autonomy while performing administrative support responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications
-
Knowledge of University policies and procedures, including financial and human resources policies; and experience with university electronic systems including HRIS, MAUI and Workflow processes.

Experience working in an academic department

Experience creating or improving office operations
