Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in photography, cinema, design, journalism, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Experience (typically 6 months or more) taking photos and videos in support of communications, promotion, or communications campaigns.
- Commitment to and alignment with the values of the Division of Student Life, including a demonstrated commitment to excellence through diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ability to take initiative in identifying and acting upon business needs as they arise, as well as hold oneself accountable to work responsibilities with little oversight.
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Lightoom, Premiere, and Photoshop) as well as Youtube.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience shooting and editing video for web and social media.
- Experience scheduling and coordinating photo and/or video shoots.
- Experience with Adobe AfterEffects.
- Experience with online cataloguing platforms, such as Photoshelter, Smugmug, and YouTube.
- Experience supervising students.
