Digital Projects Librarian
Required Qualifications:
- A graduate degree in library and information science from an ALA-accredited institution.
- To qualify at the Specialist Librarian level: a minimum of two years of full-time professional academic library experience or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based setting where consultation, flexibility, collaboration, and cooperation are essential.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity in an academic environment, in a workplace setting, and/or in the community.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with software used in the department including one or more of the following: Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Bridge, Photoshop), Capture One, ABBYY FineReader.
- Familiarity with photography concepts and terminology.
- Experience digitizing material types typically found in libraries and archives.
- Demonstrated ability to inspect library items for completeness and condition.
- Work experience in a research library setting.

The Libraries will be filling this position at one of two levels. You must indicate in your cover letter the level of classification (Librarian and/or Specialist Librarian) you wish to be considered for or indicate both. The hiring salary range for the two classifications is $52,500 - $70,000
