Director of Administration
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Typical minimum relevant experience is 3 – 5 years.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in leading administrative processes and associated operating requirements and experience working with a customer service focus; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Demonstrates extensive experience in leading, motivating, evaluating and rewarding personnel, including supervision of administrative staff.
- Demonstrates extensive experience working with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Demonstrates a high level of integrity, dependability, discretion and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated job-related experience with diversity and inclusion in the work/academic environment.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and ability to utilize tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates extensive knowledge and application of oral and written communication techniques and relationship building skills that develop the ability to clearly communicate.
- Demonstrates extensive experience managing multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. Demonstrates high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree desirable in Business, Higher Ed Administration, or related field.
- Experience working in higher education.
