Education Requirement

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. Degrees in math, science, and engineering are particularly relevant but other degrees will also be considered.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated successful experience working in a team environment.

Demonstrated effective communications skills.

Reasonable (1-3 years) supervisory experience.

Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment.

Desirable Qualifications

Master’s degree in student development or related area.

Reasonable (1-3 years) academic advising experience.

Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills.

Professional experience at community colleges or engineering colleges.

Knowledge of and commitment to University policies, procedures, and regulations.

Ability to be self-directed, organized, and proactive in completing work assignments.
