Director of Revenue Integrity - Finance & Accounting Services
Position Qualifications:
Education Required
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Healthcare related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years related management experience and leading multi-disciplinary teams in operational finance, CDM, charge capture, or related environment
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant healthcare accounting experience in healthcare finance, including both hospital and physician reimbursement. Preference given to a background in an academic setting.
- Requires high attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
- Advanced understanding of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, and third-party billing requirements
- Experience with APC reimbursement, CMS rules and regulations, coding and billing compliance
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Medicare/Medicaid regulations
- Familiarity with the principles of process improvement
- Experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to summarize complex issues into key elements
- Leadership and flexibility managing relationships in large environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preference given to experience with Epic patient accounting system
- Demonstrated job-related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment
- Masters in Health or Business Administration (MHA / MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- EPIC Certification (Resolute Hospital Billing and/or CDM)
- Current Coding Certification such as CPC, CPC-H, CCS-P, COC, CCS, RHIA or other nationally recognized coding credential
