DME Intake Coordinator
Position Qualifications:
Education Required
· A Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year Durable Medical Equipment or healthcare experience
- Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
- Ability to lift and/or move 20 pounds
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods and behaviors.
- Demonstrates working ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. Demonstrates high attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates working knowledge of and ability to use office support tools available on the desktop (e.g., calendaring, word processing, e-mail, database, presentation software and spreadsheet
Desirable Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of University policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to interact positively with a diverse population
