QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically, 2 or more years of program/project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of accepted program/project management techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with clients on outreach or business development opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal communication (oral and written), relationship building skills and demonstrated application within the university and/or business community.
  • Strong computer skills with experience using advanced functions in Excel, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products. 
  •  Professional experience with engagement through various social media channels.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet Safety Standards with the ability to travel across Iowa (30% during peak times for project recruitment and execution each semester).
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience in creating and managing budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating events and marketing specialty programs.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software.
