REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 
• Bachelor degree in Education or related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in educational field, such as an educator, educational program manager, academic program, grant manager or related business 
• Extensive knowledge of and ability:
o Program management – experience planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling multiple programs while ensuring efficient use of resources in order to achieve program objectives.
o Curriculum, instruction and assessment practices
o Written and oral communications.
o Organize and handle detailed and complex operations.
• Working knowledge of event planning and execution.
• Proficient in MicroSoft Office applications. 
• Demonstrated ability to handle and creatively solve problems in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
• Ability to work weekends, evening hours, and travel overnight (limited). 
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet Safety driving requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to interact positively with a diverse population.
• Ability to handle physical requirement of event set-up and teardown.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in Education or related field
• Extensive knowledge (typically 5+ years) in an education or education related field. 
• Prior experience with K-12 educational programming.
• Education-based new product development
• Experience hiring, scheduling and supervising student staff.
