Education and Outreach Coordinator
Education Requirement
- Master’s degree in education, special education, or communication sciences and disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a certified classroom teacher.
- Experience assessing and teaching students with characteristics of dyslexia.
- Experience developing literacy lessons aligned to systematic, explicit instruction.
- Strong public speaking ability.
- Strong writing ability. 2 writing submissions must be included as part of the application process and may include the following: scholarly report of information about reading instruction, reading development, or dyslexia; narrative report of dyslexia assessment results; practitioner-oriented report of how to implement effective literacy instruction; or technical information on literacy presented in lay-friendly language.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as an instructor in a teacher preparation program.
