Emerging Voices Coordinator
Education Requirement
- A Bachelor’s degree in education, English, Literature, Creative Writing or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in education, English, Literature, Creative Writing or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Related administrative and program experience, typically a minimum of one year, including event coordination, travel and logistics, liaising with constituents and funding organizations, and reporting is required.
- Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors at an extensive proficiency is required.
- Working proficiency in the use of computer software applications, including word processing, spreadsheet and database software is required.
- Experience in teaching or working proficiency and experience with students in a professional or volunteer capacity is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective strategies for working with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
Desired Qualifications
- Some knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations is desired.
