Engineering Coordinator

Qualifications:

Education or Equivalency Required
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related experience in a professional setting.
• Experience planning emergency and security protocols and needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Outlook), Zoom, Skype, and other computer programs named above.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and respectful manner while appreciating the unique contribution of an inclusive workforce that brings together the talents of people across multiple identities.
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively transmit and interpret information through appropriate communication with internal and external customers.

Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge of and experience with biosafety levels-2 and -3 laboratory operations is desirable, but not required.
• 1-3 years experience supervising staff members for positive results.
• Fundamental knowledge of building security protocols.
