Engineering Coordinator
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience (typically 1 year) with building security systems (door access or video management system).
- Must be proficient in computer software applications such as Microsoft Office- Outlook, Excel, Word, Access
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating and delivering training
Special Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain University Driving Policy standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Milestone or other video surveillance hardware and software systems.
- Experience with AMAG or other electronic door access software systems.
- Detailed knowledge of application installations, migrations, configurations, upgrades, support, troubleshooting.
- Vendor relations and vendor project management in a mission critical environment.
- Experience with enterprise level systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of the following programs SQL; XML; CMMS software; web software; and/or keying software.
- Ability to train users in applications and operating system fundamentals.
