Education Requirement

·         A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Required

 

·         1 to 3 years of experience with Fire Alarm Systems

·         Excellent customer service supported through outstanding technical and communication skills.

·         Ability to work in a team environment. 

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.

·         Ability to be available on a potential 24/7 on-call basis.

·         Personal cell phone, home internet and computer access. 

·         Ability to work with a diverse group of staff at all levels of an organization.

·         Demonstrated ability to lead/manage a diverse group of individuals

 

Desirable Qualifications

 

·         Practical experience with Simplex Network or other Fire Alarm network hardware and software systems.

·         Practical experience with Vesda, Smoke Control Systems, and/or other Building Control Systems

·         NICET Level II certification or higher in alarm systems.

·         Detailed knowledge of application installations, migrations, configurations, upgrades, support, troubleshooting.

·         Vendor relations and vendor project management in a mission critical environment. 

·         Experience with enterprise level systems.

·         Knowledge and understanding of the following programs SQL; XML; CMMS software; web software; and/or keying software.

·         Ability to train users in applications and operating system fundamentals.
