Environmental Analyst
Qualifications:
Education or Equivalency Required
A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a science with emphasis on analytical chemistry, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Required Qualifications
· Basic working knowledge of maintaining, servicing, and calibration of Air Quality monitoring equipment.
· Demonstrate good teamwork and interpersonal skills, including relationship management within the unit and outside the immediate work unit.
· Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to perform tasks that require accuracy, attention to detail, including accurate record keeping.
· Demonstrate working proficiency with Microsoft Office software, (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
· Possession of a valid state or commercial driver's license, and the ability to meet University Fleet Safety Standards.
Desirable Qualifications
· Demonstrates work toward improvement and implementation of Air Quality Operations.
· 6 months or more of experience maintaining, servicing and calibration of Air Quality monitoring equipment.
