Environmental Engineering & Science Program Laboratory Coordinator
Position Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, analytical chemistry, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- At least two years of relevant experience with using, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment and instrumentation utilized in the Environmental Engineering and Science Program, as described above.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations concerning the operation of research laboratories and treatment facilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse teams.
Desired
- Master’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, analytical chemistry, or related field.
- Experience with gas, liquid, or ion chromatography and/or mass spectrometry.
- Experience in enforcing safety program guidelines and maintain required safety documentation for a chemical laboratory.
