Evaluation Specialist
Education Requirement
- Position requires the academic knowledge of a discipline, including advanced study or demonstrated capacity for social science research that is generally associated with a master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible work experience.
Required Qualifications
- Typical experience: minimum of 3 years prior program evaluation experience or equivalent social science research experience is required.
- Experience designing and implementing quantitative, qualitative, and/or mixed methods research, including designing surveys and interview protocols, conducting survey research, and facilitating interviews/focus groups Experience analyzing statistical analysis and qualitative data analysis.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standards is required. Some travel will be required.
- Experience in K-12 school system, early childhood education and/or in Multi-Tiered System of Supports framework.
Desirable Qualifications
- Some experience in technical writing and report presentation is desirable.
- PhD in relevant field is desirable.
- Experience creating data visualizations and infographics and familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
- Experience developing logic models.
