Facilities Mechanic II
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Two years experience in general mechanical or electrical maintenance or other building facilities construction work.
License Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required, as well as an ability to meet and maintain University of Iowa Fleet safety Driving Standards.

Desirable Qualifications
- Prefer 6 months knowledge of laundry/industrial equipment, computer laundry/industrial system programs, installing, inspecting, maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance on laundry/industrial equipment, knowledge/field experience repair/maintenance of building gas fired/water heater & electric fresh air/exhaust vents.
- Training or field experience working on high pressure steam system and experience in assisting with microprocessor controls on equipment experience with repair and maintenance of HVAC systems.
