Facilities Services Specialist/Greenhouse Manager – Department of Biology
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Botany or Horticulture or related field, with completed course work in plant physiology, plant anatomy, genetics, botany and chemistry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Integrated Pest Management principles and practices, plant propagation and culture methods, soil and growth media preparation.
- Working knowledge of fertilizers and pesticides, including how, why, and when to apply, relevant safety and legal requirements, and the correct use of related equipment.
- Current valid driver’s license and ability to meet Fleet Safety Driving Standards.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in college/university research greenhouse.
