Qualifications:

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related customer service experience.

Experience Required:

  • Work experience (typically 1-3 years) with event management processes an activities with the ability to plan, organize and execute events and to coordinate resources before, during and after an event.
  • Extensive experience setting up, programming, and operating analogue and digital sound boards and lighting consoles for large events.
  • Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with a diverse group of clientele and the ability to model open, respectful, accepting, and supportive behaviors with team members.
  • Work experience using standard office computer applications (i.e. email, MS Office).
  • Basic knowledge of and that ability to apply organization’s performance management system, practices and tools to develop and improve individual, team and organizational performance.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience using Event Management Systems (preferably EMS), Visio diagrams, and Visix Digital Signage.
  • Basic experience with audio and lighting installations.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to use tools and techniques to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from an emergency.
