Facility Coordinator - CSS
Central Sterilizing Services is seeking a full-time Facility Coordinator on 1st shift. This position coordinates CSS administrative, operational, and building services and functions.
Monitors compliance with machine and system training, PMs, routine testing and emergency and safety program development and training.
Coordinates with CSS administration and management, multiple departments and vendors to oversee safe and compliant continuous production protective factors and downtime procedures are prioritized considered and communicated.
Assists in the support of building services
Supervise repairs and modification to building and department, equipment, and specialized environments.
Enforces compliance with building and department security processes and procedures.
Gather information and recommend products or services.
Coordinates small and large-scale project work.
Update emergency and safety policies and procedures.
Understands and ensures adherence to environmental health and safety requirements.
Oversees compliance with CSS machine repair procedures and documentation procedures.
Chairs Execute Committee initiatives established by building management.
Interacts with customers and vendor support staff to resolve routine problems.
Reviews, responds, and resolves complaints, services needed through ESC system.
Manages building HVAC, Lutron, CCure systems.
Monitor expenses against established accounts.
Provides input and suggestions to Onsite Manager on facility improvements and enhancements.
Contributes to budget development.
Knowledge of appropriate security levels for the building.
Provides regular updates and feedback to CSS management and system partners.
Provides functional support for CSS management.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1 -3 year of experience working independently to coordinate projects, building operations, and/or events while demonstrating excellent customer service and producing quality.
1-3 years of knowledge of the physical environment and full spectrum of activities in developing and maintaining physical facilities.
Demonstrated planning/organizational skills with proven success working collaboratively in a team.
Ability to work effectively and make decisions in ambiguous and complex situations with minimal supervision.
Interest and ability to quickly learn new software and business tools.
Experience working with facility-related reports and follows record-keeping requirements.
Outstanding communication skills at the verbal, written and presentation level; superior customer service skills.
Ability to wear a pager and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of University policies, procedures, operations.
Experience writing policies and procedures and developing communication plans.
Hands-on experience maintaining or coordinating the service/repair of commercial and physical facilities.
