Financial Analyst
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or Finance; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience Required
- Typically, a minimum of 1 year of accounting and/or financial experience to include:
- Application of general knowledge of accounting practices in a monthly close and reporting environment.
- Exposure to financial statement preparation (profit & loss statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows).
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of MS Excel spreadsheets.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and teamwork skills required.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with invoicing and inventory applications.
- Experience preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Experience with University of Iowa accounting financial systems.
