Graduate Program Coordinator – Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders
Education Required
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of relevant administrative work experience.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with standard computer applications (Microsoft Office/Office 365), with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adeptly utilize new software.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects involving frequent communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with graduate student program admission.
- Knowledge of University of Iowa systems, policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to adjust to quickly changing assignments and processes as organizational needs dictate.
- Experience working in an academic setting.
