Grant & Contract Manager - Ophthalmology
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years accounting experience
- 1-3 years experience preparing external research funding proposals and managing funded awards (i.e., reporting, invoicing, complying with funding requirements)
- Proficiency in computer software applications
- Knowledge of current local, state and federal regulations
- Excellent written and verbal skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years experience in governmental fund accounting or comparable contract administration
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations
- Experience with UI workflow systems
- Knowledge or experience with clinical trials
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
- Supervision is received from the Ophthalmology Finance Manager.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
- Administrative supervision is exercised over support staff including, but not limited to, the Clinical Trials Research Specialist.
