Health Care Services Manager/Assistant Department Director - UI Heart and Vascular Center
Education Requirement:
Master’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health or Business
Administration required.
Experience
Requirement:
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a hospital or medical practice setting.
- Clinical leadership, administrative experience and/or successful completion of a 2-year administrative fellowship (academic medical setting preferred).
- Job-related experience with, and commitment to, promoting diversity in the work/academic environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and skills shown by successfully implementing new programs/services, ability to work independently and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience functioning successfully within multidisciplinary setting; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer software and applications including spreadsheet and database applications.
- Proficiency in utilizing and/or clinical understanding of Epic.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
