REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Management, Nursing, Biological Sciences, or closely related fields, or a combination of related education and experience. 

 

Experience:

  • One year (12 months) of progressive experience in:
    • Conducting social science research; and
    • Medical record abstraction or disease data collection

Special Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience with computerized databases
  • Ability to function independently
  • Ability to travel overnight

This position is eligible for a combination of remote work and in-person (hybrid) work and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.

Infrequent overnight travel is required to regional hospitals, laboratories, and clinics in the State of Iowa.  Duration of any such travel is limited to 1 to 2 days.  Travel is infrequent but may be required to establish and maintain professional liaisons in regional hospitals, laboratories, and clinics in the Dallas Ft. Worth metropolitan area.
