Health Records Analyst - Cancer Center
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year of experience working in Oncology Registry work
- Certification as Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR)
- Education or experience in human anatomy
- Knowledge and experience of human anatomy
- Knowledge and experience of medical terminology
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, needing minimal guidance
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a CoC (Commission on Cancer) Accredited Cancer Program
- Experience managing complex information requiring attention to detail
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies, procedures and regulations
