Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 6 to 12 months of related experience in a research or health care setting including working with data, databases and/or data abstraction
  • Demonstrated experience with medical terminology.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated Proficiency in computer software applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex information with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with electronic medical health databases (EPIC, Cerner, etc.).
  • Experience working with medical coding.
