Histologist - Dept of Ortho & Rehab
Education Required
Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
3-5 years of histology experience.
Management of a high-volume histology lab with supervisory responsibilities.
Processing of osteochondral and soft-tissue specimens.
Use of light microscopy.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word) and electronic record keeping.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
Familiarity with human and animal joint anatomy.
Ability to recognize and assess histopathologic features.
Experience with ImageJ or other digital image analysis programs.
