Hospital Security Officer
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Two years’ experience in security and safety, or fire safety, or law enforcement; or
- One year of post-high school education related to security and safety and on year of experience in security and safety; or
- Two years of post-high school education related to security and safety
- Possession of appropriate driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.
Key Training/Compliances:
- IAHSS Basic Online Course to be completed within 6 months of start date
- Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) 8 hour - to be completed in first 90 days
- Health Safety Professional (HSP) - to be completed in first 90 days
Desirable Requirements
- Two years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer software applications (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
