Hospital Security Officer Supervisor
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Five years’ experience in security or law enforcement work, at least three years of which is at least comparable to the work of the Hospital Security Officer.
- Ability to obtain the Supervisor certification from the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) within 6 months of hire and maintain certification for duration of employment.
Desirable Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of supervisory experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in computer software applications
- Knowledge of security/law enforcement procedures
- Experience in C-Cure, Perspective, and Victor
- Trained in Crisis Intervention Techniques (CIT) procedures
- CPR certified
- CPI certified
- Stop the Bleed training certified
- IAHSS certified
