HR Administrator, Employee Experience & Engagement
University of Iowa Health Care is seeking an HR Administrator for Employee Experience & Engagement. This position will serve as the operational and strategic lead for employee engagement initiatives within UI Health Care, ensuring successful survey implementation, communications, and follow-up action planning.
Key Duties:
- Champion employee engagement efforts across the organization.
- Project manager/lead for the annual employee engagement survey process.
- Design and administer pulse surveys.
- Monitor and address requests to the employee engagement shared inbox.
- Consult with managers and HR professionals on interpreting engagement results and using the manager’s portal.
- Lead action planning sessions to improve team-level engagement.
- Design and facilitate workshops for leaders and teams needing support with employee engagement.
- Develop and lead a network of employee engagement advocates across the organization.
- Communicate regular updates and progress on employee engagement to leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to facilitate results-sharing and post-survey follow-up.
- Partner with University Org Effectiveness on Working at Iowa Employee Engagement survey.
- Participate in a “flow to work” model to support priority work across the team’s portfolio.
- Serve as instructor for training programs across the team’s portfolio.
- Monitor and reply to inquiries in team’s various shared inboxes.
- Assist with talent development and engagement for HR Rep community.
Pay Level: 5A

Required Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in human resources management or business administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three years of experience in employee engagement, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting enterprise-wide employee engagement.
- Proven project management skills, including planning, coordinating, and executing initiatives on time.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, including presenting findings to leadership.
- Experience designing and delivering workshops or training sessions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong skills in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
Desired Qualifications:
- Data visualization and dashboard creation skills.
- Experience in a large healthcare or academic medical center setting.
- Professional in Human Resources Certification.
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
