HR Generalist
Education Requirements |
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements |
Minimum of three years of experience in human resources.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Articulates clearly; possesses excellent written and oral communication skills.
Displays sound technical knowledge, analytical ability, and has proven execution/implementation success.
Adaptability to performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer software applications.
Desired Qualifications |
SPHP/PHR or SHRM-SCP/-CP preferred.
Prior experience in multiple HR program areas, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and classification and compensation.
Working knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting human resources.
Ability to be organized, flexible and multi-task in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of University policies, procedures and HR systems.
Experience working with APPs
Experience in a unionized work environment
