HR Generalist - Emergency Medicine
Education Requirement
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Administrator position and/or at a related level within an HR setting.
- Previous oversight of recruitment, performance management, payroll, and compensation and classification.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while making independent decisions regarding confidential and complex matters.
- Demonstrated experience functioning successfully within multidisciplinary setting; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with diverse teams, including the ability to lead initiatives to advance diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Proficiency in computer software and applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Certification/Licensure
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SHRM-CP Certification desired.
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting human resources.
- Prior experience work in health care, a hospital and/or academic medical setting.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SHRM-CP Certification.
- Knowledge of University HR policies/procedures.
