HR Generalist - UIHC
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum three years of progressive human resources experience, including experience in performance management, compensation and classification, recruitment and payroll.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer software applications.
- Working knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting human resources.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with a large number of employees and complex (union) environment.
- Prior experience work in a hospital and/or academic medical setting.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SHRM-CP Certification.
- Knowledge of University HR policies/procedures.
