To be responsible for talent sourcing, screening, interviewing and selection of professional and non-professional positions within UI Community Clinics.  The position is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle and will partner with the hiring manager/executive to establish position criteria/qualifications and overall talent sourcing strategy. Supporting key recruiting for Advance Practice Providers (APPs) and Staff Nurses. Assist Advance Practice Providers applicants through the credentialing process and coordinate with CSO office and applicants to expedite issues.

Responsibilities:

Talent Management & Engagement

·         Partner with hiring managers to assess talent requirements and advise on hiring strategies.

·         Coordinate recruitment activities for P&S (non-bargaining), SEIU, and merit.

·         Develop interview questions and work samples, as needed.

·         Prepare and submit requisition in OTAC; complete external advertising.

·         Screen resumes and conduct phone screens to make recommendation on final candidate interviews by hiring managers.

·         Submit reference request and review references; complete salary query and recommend salary offer; prepare offer letter; submit search and selection summary; extend offer; liaise with candidate through negotiations.

·         Upon acceptance of offer, coordinate onboarding process; complete HR orientation with employee.

·         Partners with managers and supervisors to update position control charts.

·         May assist with employee engagement initiatives and surveys.

Provider Credentialing:

·         Work with HR Manager and Family Medicine to coordinate the provider credentialing process for providers within the UI Community Clinics.

·         Facilitate credentialing process for new providers (ARNPs, PAs); coordinates sending out the credentialing packet and instructions; follow up, as needed; receive credentialing packet; ensure completion of billing packet; send completed credentialing packet to the Clinical Staff Office (CSO).

·         Serve as liaison with CSO during the credentialing process of new providers.

·         Keep clinic management team and respective divisions/units informed of credentialing progress, and notify them of any delays or issues; escalate to supervisor and administration leadership, as needed.

·         Receive re-credentialing forms from CSO and facilitate completion with providers; follow up, as needed; escalate to supervisors/leadership, as needed.

·         Collect licensure/certification renewals and update the Compliance & Qualifications (CQ) System, as needed.

·         Compliance with Policies, Laws & Regulations

·         Follow up with Employee Health, Health Care HR, and other central resources regarding questions or issues with the Compliance & Qualifications (CQ) system.

Pay Grade: 3A   https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/plans

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, variable hours between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no weekends. Available for hybrid two days per week after 6 months.

Requirements:

·         A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

       Experience:

·         Minimum of one year of experience in human resources recruiting.

·         Minimum of one year of experience in an applicant tracking system.

·         Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Demonstrated experience with commitment to providing excellent and timely customer service.

·         Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment (high volume recruiting is highly desirable).

·         Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail.

·         Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer software applications.

·         Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.

Desired:

·         Prior experience in a large, complex organization.

·         Prior experience with high-volume recruitment.

·         Ability to be organized, flexible and multi-task in a high volume and fast-paced environment.

·         Knowledge of University policies, procedures and HR systems.
