Hydrogeologist
Bachelor’s degree in geology, engineering, water resources, or a closely related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Working experience or coursework with ArcGIS and databases is required
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with others in a research environment is required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required
Ability to travel in surrounding geographic area; and hold a valid driver’s license, plus the ability to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standards (University of Iowa Operations Manual Part V, Chapter 19) is required
Master’s degree in geology, engineering, water resources, or a closely related discipline is desirable
Familiarity with hydrologic field methods and terminology is desirable
