Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or health-related science or an equivalent combination of related education and experience is required.
  • Possess a current State of Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Possess and maintain active membership in the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Possess a current CPR certification card.
  • Considerable (3-5 years) hyperbaric experience preferred.
  • Complete at least a 40-credit hour, NBDHMT-approved Hyperbaric Medicine and safety training within six months of employment
  • Obtain Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) Credentials within one year of employment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
