Education Requirement
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field); or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience (typically 5-7 years) working in application development;
• Extensive knowledge and experience with development languages such as C# or Java (.NET experience preferred);
• Working experience in software design and analysis;
• Working experience with relational database technologies (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle);
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with technical and non-technical staff.

Desired Qualifications:
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with C# development environment;
• Experience designing and developing web service APIs;
• Knowledge of event driven programming paradigms;
• Experience with web development technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS; modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue);
• Working knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts;
• Experience with authentication and authorization middleware;
• Experience developing distributed, highly available applications;
• Experience supporting technology in a higher education environment.
