Position Qualifications
 
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Successful completion of two-year or other approved program by Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology Education is required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of a broad spectrum of data processing, analysis software, and visualization tools.
  • Working knowledge of complete human anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and an independent work ethic.
  • Ability to maintain a level of computer literacy in order to adapt to various medical software applications.
  • Analytical ability sufficient to compare data.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the functions of the 3D Quantitative Lab.
  • Knowledge and visual ability to understand 3-Dimensional imagery and apply it to cross-sectional anatomy.
     
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in Radiology.
  • At least one year of experience performing 3D quantitative reprocessing.
     
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Current ARRT registered with desired certification in specialized modality. (MRI, CT, Interventional Radiology)
  • Current Permit to Practice issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health for all radiographers operating ionizing radiation emitting equipment.
