Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration of related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Successful completion of the pharmacy technician certification exam within twelve months of the start of employment.
  • 1-3 years’ experience with supply management principles/applications and procurement.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, creating positive working relationships with team members including healthcare providers, vendors, supply chain staff, and pharmacy staff.

 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge and/or experience with PeopleSoft, Epic, McKesson Connect, the 340B program and Macrohelix™.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management and operation improvement in a pharmacy setting.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, keeping multiple initiatives moving forward simultaneously.
  • Previous pharmacy experience (6 months or more)
  • Certification in supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of UIHC Pharmacy policies and procedures.
