IT Support Consultant - IT Asset Management
Position Qualifications:
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in an IT-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements
Experience, typically 1-3 years, in technology and/or business process analysis and solution design in a Technical Product Support or Customer Service Center including service recovery.
Working knowledge of Windows 7/10 and MS Office 2010 and newer
Experience with desktop server and network hardware
Experience with inventory and asset management in a business environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong problem solving skills.
Ability to move and lift computer equipment.
Driver's license required and must meet the University of Iowa Fleet Services Program rules and regulations
Desirable Qualifications
Ability to operate a motorized pallet jack and fork lift
Experience supporting workstations running Mac OSX 10.7 or greater.
Experience with wireless networking and security.
Excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Strong customer service focus.
